FALL SPORTS

FLAG FOOTBALL
Men's, Women's, Coed Divisions (80-90 teams)
Player's on a team: 7 for men's and women's teams; 3 men/3 women for coed teams
Season runs: Sept. 30 - Nov. 20

By now you've probably already heard that we don't have big time football here at UCSD. But, then again, we do! And guess what, all of you are the show. Each week you and your teammates do your best to fill the football gap on campus. We are already looking forward to the upcoming season.

VOLLEYBALL
Men's, Women's, Coed Divisions (140-150 teams)
Player's on a team: 6 for men's and women's teams; 3 men/3 women for coed teams
Season runs: Oct. 3 - late Nov.

Our campus loves this sport. Whether it's watching our highly accomplished inter-collegiate teams in action, or playing the game itself. Wether indoors on campus or at the beach during the spring and summer months, volleyball continues to be da bomb.

DODGEBALL
Coed Division (60-70 teams)
Player's on a team: 3 men/3 women
Season runs: Oct. 9 - late Nov.

The ultimate stress-buster for all. This wacky sport hit campus about seven years ago, soon after a Ben Stiller-Vince Vaughn movie of the same name hit the big screen. This sport is nuts, and so are all of you who play it.

TEAM TENNIS
Coed Division (50-60 teams)
Player's on a team: 2 men/2 women
Season runs: Oct. 10 - mid Nov.

This niche sport is truly a UC San Diego institution that has thrived on our campus. Our team format is simple. We play 5 one set matches a night on two courts with a combination of four players. We add up all the individual set scores to determine a winner . It's competitive, fun, and socially interactive for all who play.

3-ON-3 BASKETBALL
Men's and Women's Divisions (70-80 teams)
Player's on a team: 3 men or 3 women on all teams
Season runs: Oct. 9 - late Nov.

A perfect tune-up sport for the big 5-on-5 basketball season that follows in winter quarter. Need to work on your post moves, outside jumper, or dribble drive to the hoop? This is an opportunity not to be missed.

INDOOR SOCCER
Coed Division (60-75 teams)
Player's on a team: 3 men/3 women
Season runs: Oct. 9 - late Nov.

The beautiful game! Environmentally stable with no weather considerations! How sweet it is for all of you who love to kick back and kick it at the same time. This sport's popularity is rapidly outgrowing its established venue at the RIMAC Aux Gym, but that's a good thing.

TEAM GOLF
ONE DAY SPECIAL EVENT!
Player's on a team: 2 players
Event Day: October 28

We will play an 18-hole team match on a local area golf course with the winner qualifying for a slot in the NCGA Collegiate Golf Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada two weeks later. Intramural level golfers shouldn't shy away from either of these golf experiences. If you win and get to advance to Las Vegas (optional on your part), you will not regret your decision to represent your university in America's popular playground.
